Blades Down

Youth Ambassadors

Working with the Young People of Ellesmere Port

Blades Down was created to work alongside the young people of Ellesmere Port in the fight against knife crime. We believe that if we want to create a better and safer future for the young people of Ellesmere Port then they should be at the centre of our plans and should have the opportunity to make the changes themselves.

An Ambassadors Role

An ambassadors most important role is to spread awareness young people in Ellesmere Port.

As an Ambassador you will get the opportunity to take part in workshops, fundraising and meetings with Schools, Colleges, Local Authorities and MPs.

You will be involved in delivering issue based sessions on Knife Crime to other young people in your community.

Being an Ambassador of Blades Down is an exciting opportunity to help raise awareness of the dangers of knife crime and as an Ambassador you will help us in our goal to make our community a safer place.

Each Ambassador will be given training on knife crime awareness and will get the opportunity to attend talks and training sessions with both national and community groups.

As an Ambassador you may be required to speak on film for the purpose of educational  marketing which will be published on our website and social media.

Becoming a Youth Ambassador is also a great addition to your CV and college/university applications and we at Blades Down will offer references to all our Ambassadors.
